Abstract:Earthquakes and rainfall are two important factors that trigger landslide disasters.Earthquakes,in turn, can easily cause rapid migration and expansion of gas clouds, thereby triggering rainfall. In order to study the effect of post-earthquake rainfall on slope stability,a silty clay slope calculation model was established by FLAC3D software to simulate the effects of 0.1 g,0.2 g and 0.3 g Wolongtai earthquakes in Wenchuan and the three post-earthquake rainfall conditions of light rain, moderate rain and heavy rain. The displacement time history of three monitoring points of slope top, slope waist and slope foot was used to reflect the effect of rainfall on slope stability after earthquake. The calculation results show that the displacement growth rate of slope top, slope waist and slope foot is different with the increase of rainfall time, and the displacement growth rate of slope top is higher than that of slope waist and slope foot. When the rainfall time lasts to a certain time, the displacement of slope top will exceed other positions.According to the calculation results, the displacement equation of edge slope foot is established by SPSS step regression and tested. The equation can better reflect the quantitative relationship between slope displacement and main influencing factors, and provide a basis for evaluating silty clay slope stability under the effect of post-earthquake rainfall.
