Design of fireless return speed detection system for electric locomotives

Abstract：In order to solve the auxiliary power supply problem of electric locomotives in the process of fireless return,it is necessary to use fireless return to regenerate electric energy.This article designs a speed detection system that can accurately detect vehicle motors,and analyzes the overall structure,working principle,hardware circuit and software speed measurement method of the speed detection system.Experimental results prove that the designed fireless return speed detection system for electric locomotives can adapt to different types of speed encoders and accurately detect the real-time speed of the motor.
