Abstract:In this study,a split heat pipe is utilized as the condensing heat exchanger for an air source heat pump to meet the specific heating requirements for preventing freezing in coal mine shafts. The air source heat pump operates efficiently with low condensing temperature and low pressure ratio.Based on the second law of thermodynamics, the energy efficiency ratio of the heat pump system is high, enabling safe operation in low temperature environments.Experimental prototype testing confirms that the energy efficiency ratio of the heat pump system remains high under low pressure ratio operation, and that the heat pipe heat exchanger can pro-vide high temperature hot air.Industrial experimental application at Xingdong Coal Mine during winter 2023 verifies that the low pressure ratio and highly efficient air source heat pipe heat pump system fully meets shaft antifreeze heating requirements, providing energy emergency guarantee and stable operation.Under ambient temperatures of-20℃,it not only provides reliable heating but also exceeds a 3.0 system energy efficiency ra-tio,surpassing traditional air source heat pumps and demonstrating remarkable energy-saving effects while en-suring safe operations.
