Abstract:The stability of the tunnel is one of the key factors for the safe production of the mine. This paper focuses on the tunnel layout of double along-air stay, through the monitoring and analysis of the stress field and displacement field of 4502 Goaf and 4503 Working Face and there neighboring tunnels,to explore the influence of the mining process of the working face on the distribution of stress and displacement pattern of the surround-ing rock of the tunnel. The results show:workface mining has a significant effect on the reorganization of the stress field in the tunnel, especially in the near area of the workface. The monitoring data revealed the signifi-cant impact of workface return on the stress field of the tunnel perimeter rock, especially in the tunnel located near the workface, where the displacement settlement is highly fluctuating. The displacement and settlement of 4503 Railroad track is relatively small due to the uniform vertical stress distribution on both sides, while the displacement and settlement of 4503 Tape Road and the former 4502 Railroad track is obviously larger than that of the mining side due to the difference in the nature of the surrounding rock in the unmined area. The aim of this investigation is to understand and predict the effects of workface reclamation on tunnel stability and to provide practical implications for mine engineering.
