Abstract:The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of spraying ammonium dihydrogen phosphate(ADP)at different dust pressure on its dispersion and the suppression of 9.5 per cent methane explosion char-acteristics.Through the experiments in a 60L fixed-capacity incendiary bomb, the data collected by high-speed camera and pressure sensor were processed and analysed in combination with thermodynamics and aero-dynamics,and it was found that the dust spraying pressure had a significant effect on the explosion suppression of ADP by influencing the dispersion condition. The experimental results show that 3g and 6g of ADP are poorly dispersed under the dust spray pressure of 1.2 MPa.9 g of ADP in a variety of dust spraying pressure conditions can achieve a more uniform dispersion, especially in the 0.8MPa dust spraying pressure is the most significant performance. At higher dust pressure, the inhibition effect of ADP on the initial development of the explosion was weakened, and at a moderate dust pressure of 0.8 MPa,ADP showed excellent dispersion and explosion suppression effects. These findings provide an important experimental basis for understanding the in-fluence of dust spray pressure on the inhibition effect of ADP on methane explosion, and are of great signifi-cance as a guide for the development of effective mine explosion prevention measures.
