Experiments on instant and automatic construction of mobile floodgate wall in mines

Abstract：Abstra ct:To prevent the occurrence and spread of goaf water accidents in coal mine , the analogue experi-ments were conducted on instant and automatic construction of mobile floodgate wall ( MFW).Under the condi-tions with or without Belt Rack , the orthogonal simulation experiments with 1:100 ratio of real conditions in the roadway on instant and automatic construction were done by filling in solid or liquid materials .Two groups of the important data were obtained from the experiment:the effective time of MFW filled in the liquid material is 36~185s, the expansion pressure is 1.03~1.2MPa,the water plugging rate is 78%~99%;the effective time of MFW filled in the solid material is 185~240 s, the expansion pressure is 0.52~0.65 MPa,the water plugging rate is 70%~83%.The influencing factors on the experimental results were analyzed and the practi -cal and applicable conditions of the technology were discussed .Comparison of the two groups of the data shows that MFW filled in liquid material is better in water plugging effect than that filled in solid material; water plugging effect of MFW under the condition without the belt rack is better than that with belt rack .
