Abstract：Roof water source for the "four-containing"is the the largest sources of danger that threat 7130 Face in Qidong Coal Mine ’ s Safety Production.Mining will form the the rupture zones of roof strata , it’ s elec-trical properties will change significant .By monitoring the changes of resistance , excitation current and natural potential, we found that there is a certain corresponding relation between the roof water inrush quantity and goaf water inflow.Through the monitoring tests in Qidong Coal Mine , it shows that the roof water damage is can be predicted ,the amount of advance warning of natural potential is up to 25 days, a minimum of 5 days and the exciting current is up 26 days, a minimum of two days.This prediction method can be referenced to other coal mine to prevent roof water flood threats .
