Application of surface engineering in failure protection of coal mine equipments

Abstract：The failure of mining equipments, wear and corrosion, is summarized in this article.And then, the application of surface modification technology in failure protection of coal mine equipments is systematically ex-pounded, including both experimental field researches and field applications.It is found that, proper surface modification technology could effectively reduce maintenance costs and prolong service life of equipments, and further more, insure the safety of coal mine production.
