The inrush risk assessment of Ordovician limestone water in the coal seam floor in Dayuan coal mine

Abstract：The karst water of Ordovician limestone in the coal seam floor is one of the main type of water dam-age in Dayuan Coal Industry Co. Ltd. in Shanxi province. The primary mineable coal bed 2# coal is taken as an example. The Ordovician limestone water pressure, Ordovician limestone water level,the relative imperme-able layer thickness over Ordovician limestone and other factors are analyzed combined with drilling data in well field. We calculated the water bursting coefficient, drew the contour map of floor to Ordovician limestone water pressure to the coal floor, the contour map of impermeable layer thickness and the contour map of water bursting coefficient in Ordovician limestone aquifer water. The mine water bursting risk has been evaluated by using the method of water bursting coefficient. Finally, we divided the mining area into safety zone under high pressure, the relatively safe area, the relatively risking area. According to the specific conditions of the parti-tion and water bursting risk, the prevention and control of water hazard has been suggested.
