Geostress Measurement at Deep Position of Qishan Mine and Distribution Law of Geostress Field

Abstract：With the increasing of coal mining depth and intensity,the geostress plays more important roles in the displacement and damage of surrounding rock. It is very important to take geostress measurements and ana-lyze the distribution characteristics of the geostress fields in coal mining area. The geostress measurements have been conducted within the depths of - 1000 and - 850 m in Qishan Coal Mine by using stress relief method. The analysis of the measurement data indicates that: The geostress field in Qishan Coal Mine, in which the tectonic stress takes absolute predominance, is dominated by horizontal stress and belongs to typical tectonic stress field;The magnitudes of the geostress are super high stress level. The orientations of the maxi-mum horizontal principal stresses mainly concentrate on NW - SE121° ~ 140°,the average is 130 . Finally, combined with the tectonic movement to further explore the relationship between mining deep geostress field and geological structure.
