Development on Study of Seismic Stability Evaluation Methods of Slopes

Abstract：Slope stability owing to earthquake actions is a hot research point in engineering geology and engi-neering seismology. The classifications of seismic stability evaluation methods of slopes are discussed firstly in the paper,then,based on the points of evaluation principle and method view,the advancement of seismic sta-bility evaluation methods of slopes,including statistical analysis method,physical test method,calculation and analysis method,is concisely reviewed. And some concise remarks are made. Then,existing problems are pointed out and the study problems,which need to be done in future,are suggested.
