Abstract：Qingdao Expo is the first one to hold in the mountains , the purpose of the facilities design is to make the tourists feel convenient and safety , this paper analyzes the color applications , safety signs, indicating signs,public service facilities , barrier-free design and other aspects for the design of EXPO , explains the design process and details for the EXPO with the human factors engineering principles , and analyzes the defi-ciencies, provide a reference for the design of public facilities.
