Abstract：The principle of mine transient electromagnetic method (MTEM) is introduced.And through the ap-plication examples of the transient electromagnetic method in the detection of Coal seam ’ s sater yield propertyin Shicaocun Mine ,it demonstrates that the method is an effective means to detect the position and extent of water-rich carea .It also provides reliable basis for prediction and prevention of mine water disasters .
