Abstract：According to the characteristics and training objectives of computer science students in application-oriented colleges , a general development framework of java programming for teaching which based on the a-nalysis of the problems exist in curent teaching mode and teaching methods is put forward.By using this devel-opment framework , on the one hand the related programming courses can be linked together , and make a chain of professional skills training , on the other hand each course and teaching steps can be modularized , so can reduce the coupling between courses and make the key points stand out.By using this framework can com-pensate for the shortage of the teaching methods which often used in teaching process , such as project-driven teaching method , case teaching method etc.It can improve the students ’ practical ability and innovative abili-ty, and is an effective , new practical teaching mode.
