The Study of Diatomite Purification in Centrifugal Separator

Abstract：Centrifugal separator is mainly used in nonferrous and ferrous metal ore dressing plant and few ap -plied in non-metallic ore dressing plant.In this paper , the authors use the centrifugal separator to separate and purificate changbai diatomite by pilot tests study , and find out and improve the main problems of centrifu-gal separator on diatomite separation , and study the centrifugal time and centrifugal rotational speed factors.The SiO2 content of diatomite is finally 86% or more, It not only effectively purificates diatomite , but also solves purification problem such as time -consuming , affecting production in winter on the conventional gravi-ty condition.and innovates the application of the centrifugal separator in the non -metallic ore field , at the same time laids a good foundation for large -scale industrial production in the future.
