Abstract：In this paper, we proposed a Web -based computer laboratory management system.The system was based on B/S structure and was developed under J2EE+SQL Server 2008.The system made full use of several techniques like database , component and database connection.Its main management functions includ-ed management and maintenance of practical classes in computer laboratories , attendance management, as-signments transfer for students as well as correcting , recording, summarizing assignments for teachers.The system has been in use for computer classes in our laboratories and is truly convenient and efficient for teaching management.The system design and implementation scheme of this practical computer class management sys -tem is also helpful and has reference value for other higher institutes.
