A Survey of the Architectural Education inHebei Province

Abstract：With the rapid development of building industry , the severe changes of human living environment , the impact and challenges brought by globalization to the Chinese architects , there are higher requirements for the architectural education that aims at cultivating high -qualified talents for the society.Specific to Hebei higher instituions, architecture as a specialty was started fairly early and is quite utilitarian.With a good foun-dation and some regional advantages , now it ranks average nationally.Facing opportunities and challenges, pursuing prominent features is a breakthrough for Hebei achitectural education , like enhancing the schools ’ competitiveness, increasing investment, resolving specific issues and so on.
