Pr otected Range Extension of Mining Underlying Protective Seam with Long Distance

Abstract：Based on mining underlying protective seam with long distance in the panel 1311 ( 1 ) of ZhangJi mine,and by the contrast of numerical simulation and similar material test , the extended destressed zone was located between the angles of theoretical destressing and normal projection of protective seam border ;fully de-stressed zone was within the limit of theoretical destressing angle .In order to investigate the extended protec-tive range intuitively and correctly ,the coal roadway was constructed in overlying protected seam 13-1 to test the coal seam swelling deformation rate, height deformation rate of coal roadway , gas emission and permeabili-ty coefficient.The research proved that the destressing angle of 11-2 nearly horizontal coal seam can be ex-panded to 90 °and the equivalent length and width arrangement of protected panel can be realized .
