A Study on General Education and Training Brilliant Legal Undergraduates

Abstract：Training brilliant legal undergraduates is a strategic policy which was guided and supported development of legal edu -cation in the new period.Training brilliant legal undergraduates requires not only steady basic theoretical knowledge of law and practices but also profound humanities quality and required legal ethics.General education provides basic knowledge , basic theory and means for public quality , humanities quality and scientific spirit of law students.It also has fundamental value and decisive role in training brilliant legal undergraduates.So we need to have a correct understanding of the relationship between general edu -cation and professional education.We will do a good job in top -level design for law schools.We also have to set special educa-tional institution for general education with good teachers.Meanwhile course arrangements should embody aim at general education laying the foundation for training brilliant legal undergraduates.
