On Point Load Test
Abstract：The testing method of point load test,the failure mechanism of rock in point load test,the applicability of point load test and the matters of attention in applying point load test are also introduced in this paper.According to abundant measured data,the law that point load strength obeys normal distribution is educed by using Monte Carlo method.
