Abstract:This paper provides a brief overview of the development of high-density 3D seismic exploration technology and summarizes the key parameters applicable to the characteristics of coalfields.High density 3D seismic exploration uses smaller sampling intervals, higher coverage times, wide azimuth, and single point reception of digital detectors compared to conventional 3D,achieving sufficient and uniform sampling of effective reflection signals and noise in the target layer. It can identify small faults, smaller collapse col-umns,etc.,and is receiving increasing attention. However, seismic exploration is a systematic engineer-ing and it cannot be simply assumed that the goal and requirements of high-precision exploration can be a-chieved by using high-density 3D technology. All aspects must be scientifically demonstrated, carefully organized, and interpreted to ensure the high accuracy of exploration results.
