Research on the Application of Comprehensive Geophysical Methods in Goaf Exploration

Abstract：As one of the main hazards affecting the safety production of mines at present,goaf poses signifi-cant safety risks.In order to seek effective methods for goaf exploration and verify the application effect of multiple geophysical methods in goaf exploration,experiments were conducted on geophysical methods.After comparing the experimental results of various geophysical methods,high-density resistivity method and transient electromagnetic method were selected to conduct experimental profiles and drilling verifica-tion work in two experimental areas.The results indicate that these two geophysical methods have good application effects in the exploration of goaf in metal mines.The high-density resistivity method is better applied in the exploration of shallow goaf,while the transient electromagnetic method has high resolution for low resistance water filled goaf.
