Abstract:Based on the topographic and geological data from the artificial lake area near the ground resistivity observation site of Hongge Seismic Station, the three-dimensional seepage numerical model of the artificial lake was established, and the three-dimensional seepage numerical simulation calculation of the artificial lake was carried out.The results show that the groundwater level in the ground resistivity survey area rises significantly after the impoundment of the artificial lake.Combining with the extended Archie's law,by calculating the medium influence coefficient of each layer of the ground resistivity, under the condition of other factors unchanged, the rise of the groundwater level in the survey area will cause the reduction of the resistivity observation data. Thus, the simulation inference result suggests that the impoundment of the artificial lake will cause the reduction of the ground resistivity observation data. The simulation results are consistent with the actual observation results of the ground resistivity, indicating that the impoundment of the artificial lake is one of the reasons for the decline of the ground resistivity observation data at Hongge Seismic Station.
