Installation and Test Analysis of VP Vertical Pendulum Tiltmeter at Shexian Seismic Station

Abstract：In this paper ,problems appeared during the installing process of the VP wideb and pendulum tiltmeter at Shexian seismic station is discussed and the data after the test run of the instrument are ana-lyzed .The results show that ,the VP wideband pendulum tiltmeter record is affected by the water level greatly ,and the influence of pressure and temperature is not obvious ;the ability of reflecting earthquake of the instrument is more powerful than that of the VS vertical pendulum .The method of installation and analysis can be referred to other new stations .
