Abstract：In this paper ,based on the borehole data and results of the seismic safety assessment in Handan city during the last few years ,the relationship between the geological area and the ground motion parame‐ters in Handan city is studied .The study may provide reference and basic data for the formulation of earth‐quake prevention and disaster reduction in the future .
