Shallow Seismic Exploration and Fault Activity Identification in Engineering Site

Abstract：Petroleum geological data show that ,there are three deep faults in the engineering site of Cang‐zhou .The detailed work contained the shallow seismic exploration ,drilling and formation age test of fault overlying Quaternary strata .The activity of the fault is identified and the influence of the fault to the engi‐neering is evaluated .It provides a typical example for the practical application of fault activity identification in the important engineering location .
