Abstract：Zhangjiakou-Penglai fault is an important NW-trend seismic tectonic zone in north China.According to the study in recent years,we divided the fault into 4 segments:Zhangbei-Nankou segment,Nankou-Ninghe segment,Bohai segment and Penglai-Yantai segment.Each segment has its own geometrical kinematic character.The relation between NW-trend and NE-trend faults in the zone is discussed.
