Prospects of Tidal Energy Development and Utilization in China＇s
Abstract：In recent years, energy and environmental issues have been restricting China＇s economic development. Tidal energy as a clean, non-polluting and renewable energy, its effective development and utilization may be a good policy for China. The utilization sit- uation of tidal energy at home and abroad is summariged in this paper and it is to give a brief introduction to the significance of exploiting and developing tidal energy in China. At the same time, it is to point out the problem caused by mass exploitation, on which basis; and to put forward the direction of future research and to give the corresponding suggestion.
