A Study of the Relationship between Training Methods of Tower Crane Drivers and Task Complexity

Abstract：To explore the influence from different methods of training tower crane drivers in operation per-formance , and the relationship between the task complexity and different training methods , an experiment with two-factor and three-level performance on platform of tower crane virtual simulation is designed , in which the two factors are training methods and task complexity .The results indicate that 1) different train-ing methods will result in significantly different performances;and 2) different training methods should be adopted for different task complexities .
