Abstract：The data contents of the material list and ma terial relation list(BOM)of JW-MRPⅡis analysed. The ways of picking -up and managing EBOM,PBOM,parts and their technology information by systems o f InteCAD,CAPP and IntePDM are described briefly.Combining with his practical ex perience accumulated in the d emonstration engineering of CIMS application under the CIMS subject of National 863 Planning, A practical approach to esta blish the material list and material relation list of MRPⅡ with the help of the PBOM( produce bill of material) and other parts information submitted to PDM by CAPP i n the case of CIMS are set out.
