Abstract：This thesis has elaborated the origin and definition of industrial engineering, and introduced the theories of industrial engineering applied to enterprises at home and abroad that have been successful in their operation and competition on domestic and international markets. It has further proved with examples the importance of training industrial engineering personnel. Moreover, some beneficial suggestions and advice have been put forward on the subject of how to train and develop industrial engineering personnel in the light of the market demand for such professionals in our country.
