Abstract：Wound infection not only seriously affects patients'quality of life but also poses tremendous challenges and burdens to the healthcare system.Diagnostic ultrasound holds broad application prospects in the field of wound infection due to its char-acteristics of quantitative imaging,capability for continuous measurement,and non-invasiveness.This article systematically re-views the mechanisms of ultrasound technology in wound infection assessment,the sonographic changes associated with wound infection,and the role of ultrasound technology in wound infection management,aiming to provide a reference for the clinical use of diagnostic ultrasound technology in assessing wound infections.
