Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of the SBAR(Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation)standardized communication mode combined with integrated medical-nursing care intervention during digestive endoscopy diag-nosis and treatment,so as to provide a reference for clinical practice. Methods From August 2023 to December 2024,180 pa-tients undergoing level-4 digestive endoscopic procedures at Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital were enrolled.Using a random number table, patients were assigned to an observation group(n=90)and a control group(n=90).The control group re-ceived routine care;the observation group received routine care plus an intervention combining the SBAR standardized commu-nication mode with integrated medical-nursing care.Intraoperative respiratory rate(RR),peripheral oxygen saturation(SpO2),heart rate(HR),and mean arterial pressure(BP)were compared between the two groups.Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)at 1 and 4 hours,Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)scores at the time of surgical booking and 2 hours pre-operation,incidence of intra-to-postoperative complications, and patient satisfaction with the endoscopic diagnostic/treat-ment process were also compared. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower intraoperative RR,HR,and BP,with differences reaching statistical significance(P<0.05).The observation group's VAS scores at 1 and 4 hours postoperatively were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Two hours before surgery,HADS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complica-tions from intra-to postoperative periods in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Overall patient satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The SBAR standardized communication mode combined with integrated medical-nursing care intervention during digestive endoscopy diagnosis and treatment can stabilize patients' respiration, heart rate, and blood pressure, relieve preopera-tive anxiety and postoperative pain, reduce complication rates, and increase patients' degree of satisfaction with nursing, while also strengthening cooperation among medical staff;it therefore has clinical application value.
