Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of guided cognitive nursing combined with warming intervention on anesthesia re-covery quality and emotions in patients undergoing general anesthesia surgery, and to provide a reference for clinical treat-ment.Methods A total of 80 patients undergoing general anesthesia surgery at Jiangsu Province Hospital between July 2022 and July 2023 were selected for the study.Using a random number table method, the patients were allocated to a con-trol group and an intervention group, with 40 patients in each group. The intervention group received guided cognitive nurs-ing combined with warming intervention, while the control group received conventional intervention. The basic vital signs of both groups during the surgery were compared;the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)scores before and after the intervention were compared.Additionally, the postoperative recovery quality scale(PQRS)scores at 1 day before surgery(T0),15 minutes after surgery(T1),60 minutes after surgery(T2),1 day after surgery(T3),and 3 days after surgery(T4)were compared;the incidence of adverse reactions in both groups was compared;the perioperative comfort and degree of satisfaction with nursing were also compared. Results There were no significant differ-ences in the comparison of respiratory rate, pulse, body temperature, mean arterial pressure, and oxygen saturation be-tween the two groups during the surgery(P>0.05).Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in the SAS and SDS scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, both groups showed decreased SAS and SDS scores, with the intervention group showing significantly lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).At T0,T1,T3,and T4,the PQRS scores showed no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05);at T2,the intervention group had significantly higher PQRS scores than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the in-tervention group was significantly lower than in the control group(P<0.05).The perioperative comfort and degree of sat-isfaction with nursing scores in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of guided cognitive nursing combined with warming intervention in patients undergoing general anesthesia surgery showed good results. This intervention effectively reduces negative emotions, including anxiety,im-proves anesthesia recovery quality, lowers the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions, and enhances patient comfort and degree of satisfaction with nursing. This combined intervention approach holds promise for promotion in clinical practice.
