Abstract:Objective This study aimed to analyze the risk factors for hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage(HICH)and differ-ences in serological indicators between HICH and hypertension patients in middle-aged and young adults in the Ankang region, providing reference for disease prevention and treatment. Methods A total of 1 286 patients who admitted to Ankang Tradi-tional Chinese Hospital from July 2021 to December 2023 were enrolled in the study, including 245 HICH patients and 1 041 hypertension patients.Clinical data and laboratory results were collected for univariate and multivariate logistic regression ana-lyses of HICH risk factors. Results HICH patients had a significantly higher proportion of patients with grade 2 or 3 hyper-tension,obesity,smoking history, physical inactivity,stroke-prone TCM constitutions,a history of diabetes,a history of dys-lipidemia,sleep disorders, family history of cardiovascular disease, and abnormal marital status(P<0.05).Serological analy-sis showed that HICH patients had significantly higher levels of fasting blood glucose, cystatin C,low-density lipoprotein cho-lesterol,apolipoprotein B,and homocysteine(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression identified high hypertension grade(OR=2.351),obesity(OR=1.689),smoking history(OR=1.584),physical inactivity(OR=1.515),stroke-prone TCM con-stitution(OR=1.738),a history of diabetes(OR=2.121),a history of dyslipidemia(OR=2.001),sleep disorders(OR=1.736),family history of cardiovascular disease(OR=1.606),abnormal marital status(OR=1.649),elevated fasting blood glucose(OR=1.075),elevated cystatin C(OR=1.723),elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(OR=1.156),and ele-vated homocysteine(OR=1.026)as risk factors for HIGH(P<0.05).Conclusion HICH in middle-aged and young adults in Ankang is linked to hypertension grade,obesity,smoking,inactivity,stroke-prone TCM constitutions,diabetes,dyslipi-demia,sleep disorders, family history of cardiovascular disease, abnormal marital status, and elevated fasting blood glucose, cystatin C,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and homocysteine.Early preventive measures should be taken clinically for in-dividuals with these risk factors.
