Abstract:Objective To investigate the predictive effect of triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index on the outcome of laser therapy in patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods 150 patients with DR Who received laser treatment in our hospital from January 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the study objects.According to the different outcomes of all patients after laser treatment, the improved group and the non-improved group were set up.All subjects underwent blood biochemical tests and clinical data were recorded before laser therapy.Evaluate the value of TyG index in predicting the outcome of laser therapy in DR patients and explore the influencing factors of laser therapy outcome in DR patients. Results The TyG index and TG of patients in the unimproved group were higher than those in the improved group(P<0.05).The TyG index of DR Patients before laser treatment was taken as the covariate, and the outcome after laser treatment was taken as the dependent variable(improvement=0,no improvement=1).Univariate Logistic analysis was carried out,and the results showed that the increase of TyG index of DR Patients before laser treatment was a risk factor affecting the outcome of laser treatment(P<0.05).The clinical data of DR Patients were taken as covariate, and the outcome after laser treatment was taken as de-pendent variable(improvement=0,no improvement=1).A multi-factor Logistic regression model was established. After adjusting for the influence of relevant data,TyG index of DR Patients before laser treatment and combined hypertension were the influencing factors for the outcome of DR Patients after laser treatment(P<0.05).ROC results showed that the AUC(95%CI)of TyG index before laser treatment was 0.912(0.867-0.962),and the optimal cut-off point was 9.12.Conclusion The TyG index has a good predictive effect on the outcome of laser therapy in DR Patients, and its increase may increase the risk of poor prognosis of laser therapy, which can be used as a biological marker for the outcome of laser therapy in DR Patients.
