Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of continuous nursing intervention in the rehabilitation process of stroke patients, aiming to provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods A total of 120 stroke patients admitted to the Chenzhou No.1 People's Hospital from January to November 2023 were selected as the study participants.Patients were randomly assigned to an observation group and a control group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing intervention, while the observation group received continuous nursing intervention in addition to routine nursing. The health knowledge mastery rate, degree of satisfaction,self-behavior management ability, and self-care ability of daily living before and after intervention(4 weeks post-intervention)were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention,no statistically significant difference was noted in the health knowledge mastery level between the two groups(P>0.05).At 4 weeks post-intervention,the excellent rate of health knowledge mastery in both groups was higher than before the intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistically sig-nificant differences(P<0.05).The overall degree of satisfaction with nursing in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the Stroke Self-Management Questionnaire scores between the two groups(P>0.05).At 4 weeks post-intervention,the scores in both groups were significantly higher than before the intervention, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,no statistically significant difference was observed in the Modified Barthel Index scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of the Modified Barthel Index in both groups were higher than before the intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statisti-cally significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous nursing intervention can ensure seamless connection among medical staff, guarantee the quality of patient rehabilitation, help patients master health knowledge, promote self-behavior management ability and daily living self-care ability, enhance the medical experience, and increase patient's degree of satis-faction.It is worth promoting in clinical practice.
