Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of yoga ball training combined with the Lamaze breathing pain relief method in natural delivery for primiparas under the change of midwifery service mode, and to provide support for formula-ting natural delivery nursing intervention plans for primiparas. Methods From April 2021 to March 2023,196 pregnant women planning vaginal delivery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University were selected and randomly allo-cated to a control group and an observation group, with 98 cases each. The control group received conventional midwifery nursing intervention, while the observation group received yoga ball training combined with the Lamaze breathing pain relief method under the changed midwifery service mode. The final delivery methods, pain levels in each labor stage, duration of each labor stage, postpartum hemorrhage volume, and delivery control levels were compared between the two groups. The arterial oxygen partial pressure(PaO2),arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure(PaCO2),arterial pH,and 1-minute Apgar score of newborns were also compared. Results The vaginal delivery rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group[88.78% (87/98)vs.76.53% (75/98)],while the cesarean section rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group[11.22% (11/98)vs.23.47% (23/98)],with significant differences(x2=5.124,P=0.024).The observation group had significantly lower visual analog scale(VAS)scores for pain in the first, second, and third stages of labor compared to the control group(P<0.05).The duration of the first, second, and third stages of la-bor was significantly shorter in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).Postpartum hemorrhage volume in the observation group was significantly less than in the control group(P<0.05).The labor agentry scale(LAS)scores were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Newborns in the observation group had significantly lower PaCO2 levels and significantly higher PaO2 levels, arterial pH,and 1-minute Apgar scores compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of yoga ball training combined with the Lamaze breathing pain relief method under the change of midwifery service mode has a high value in natural delivery for primiparas, effectively reducing the cesarean section rate, promoting maternal delivery control, alleviating labor pain, and reducing the risk of neonatal asphyxia.
