Abstract:Objective To explore the potential categories and influencing factors of medication compliance in AIDS patients. Methods A total of 152 AIDS patients treated in Luoding People's Hospital from July 2023 to January 2025 were selected as subjects by convenience sampling method.General data questionnaire and 8-item morisky medication adherence scale(MMAS-8)were used to investigate AIDS patients, potential profile analysis(LPA)was used to identify the potential categories of AIDS patients'medication compliance, and Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of potential categories of medication compliance. Results The total score of compliance of 152 patients was(6.91±0.34).Two potential categories of compliance, including"low adherence-treatment interruption type"and"high adherence-stable compliance type",were fitted through the model.Patients with"low compliance-treatment interruption type"and"high compliance-stable compliance type"were compared in terms of gender, marital status, place of residence, educational level, body mass index, smoking, drinking, combined underlying diseases, working status, monthly household income per capita, and infection route, and there was no statistical significance(all P>0.05).Age,disease knowledge, anxiety, depression, combination of drugs, side effects and course of disease were compared, and the results showed statistical significance(all P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, disease knowledge, anxiety, depression, combination of drugs, drug side effects and course of disease were the potential factors influencing the compliance of AIDS patients with medication treatment(all P<0.05).Conclusions The drug treatment compliance of AIDS patients is divided into two potential categories:"low compliance-treatment interruption type"and"high compliance-stable compliance type".Clinical attention should be paid to high-risk AIDS patients with low compliance-treatment interruption type. The potential categories of medication treatment compliance of patients should be identified early, and corresponding intervention programs should be formulated and implemented to improve the medication compliance of patients.
