Abstract:President Xi Jinping has emphasized the importance of effectively integrating the"ideological and political small classroom"with the"social big classroom,"providing fundamental guidance for strengthening moral education and cultivating students in the new era.Considering the characteristics of five-year higher vocational education programs—such as their extended duration, diverse student demographics, and clear vocational orientation—this study takes Nanjing Vocational Health College as a case to explore the collaborative educational pathways between"ideological and political small classrooms"and"social large classrooms".Guided by Tao Xingzhi's philosophy of the unity of knowledge and action, the research constructs a"grand medical cultivation"tiered ideological practice system to address vague objectives.A"museum-school-hospital-chain"digital platform is developed to overcome fragmented educational resources. An issue-based learning-through-practice model and holistic competency-oriented evaluation are established to resolve knowledge-practice disconnects and insufficient assessment effectiveness.Empirical results demonstrate that the integrated model significantly enhances students'core competence in ideological and political education, increases their level of participation and depth of reflection in practical activities, and improves overall learning satisfaction. This study provides a replicable and transferable framework for reforming ideological and political education in five-year higher vocational programs, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents with both professional competence and patriotic commitment.
