Abstract:Opioids serve as critical medications for managing cancer pain and postoperative analgesia, yet the clinical incidence of opioid-induced nausea and vomiting(OINV)remains notably high. This condition not only significantly impairs patients'quality of life and reduces their treatment adherence but also exacerbates the medical burden.Although pharmacological antiemetic therapy currently yields a certain therapeutic effect,it is associated with adverse reactions and limitations;thus,non-pharmacological interventions have gradually gained clinical attention. This study reviewed the pathogenesis,grading,assessment,non-pharmacological intervention methods, and comprehensive intervention strategies of OINV,and put forward relevant suggestions. It aimed to provide a theoretical basis for formulating targeted, scientific, and reasonable OINV management protocols in the future.
