Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness of the six-step high-efficiency cycle management model on continuously improving nursing quality in patients receiving intravitreal injections at a one-stop service center. Methods A total of 320 patients receiving their first intravitreal injection at Nanjing Medical University Affiliated Ophthalmology Hospital in March and June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 160 patients in each group. The control group received routine clinical nursing care, while the observation group adopted the six-step high-efficiency cycle management model. This model was implemented through the hospital's one-stop intravitreal injection day-surgery center and integrated nursing service station, focusing on systematic, standardized, and streamlined nursing processes. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group showed a significantly higher health education awareness rate(95.0%vs.70.0%)and higher patient satisfaction(97.5%vs.90.0%).The average appointment waiting time for injections in the observation group was reduced to within 24 hours, significantly shorter than 72 hours in the control group. Conclusions The six-step high-efficiency cycle management model effectively integrates medical resources and mobilizes multi-departmental collaboration within the hospital, significantly improving nursing efficiency, reducing medical costs, and enhancing patient satisfaction.
