Applications and implications of growth mixture modeling in nursing research

Abstract：The use of the growth mixture modeling in clinical research is expanding in both scope and volume.Understanding the current status of the growth mixture modeling and its applications in the nursing field is essential for advancing high-quality nursing practice.This paper systematically introduces the origins and development,overview,applications in the field of nursing,implications for nursing quality improvement,as well as the future and challenges of the growth mixture modeling.It aims to enhance nursing researchers'understanding of the growth mixture model in nursing and inspire clinical nurses to apply this model in practice,and thus promote the application and progress of this research method in the nursing research in China.
