Research progress in traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing for patients with shoulder and hand syndrome after stroke

Abstract:Shoulder-hand syndrome is a common complication following a stroke,characterized by sudden edema,pain and limited mobility of the shoulder joint.If not treated in time,it may lead to permanent deformities of the shoulders,upper limbs and fingers of patients,which seriously affects their quality of life and rehabilitation process.Therefore,early detection,diagnosis and treatment are critical.This paper summarizes the current research on the nursing care of shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke from five aspects:the pathogenesis of shoulder-hand syndrome,traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques,daily care,emotional adjustment and dietary management,aiming to provide evidence-based evidence for clinical practice.
