Research progress of machine learning in intelligent syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract：Syndrome differentiation is the core step of traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in clinical practice.In-depth research on the theory and application of syndrome differentiation and development of scientific and standard digital and intelligent syndrome differentiation technology has an important impact on the evolution of TCM into modern medicine.As the most representative and existence leading research field in artificial intelligence,machine learning has been used in the practice of intelligent syndrome differentiation in Chinese medicine.This paper introduces the concepts of machine learning and its application in intelligent syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine,and analyzes the shortcomings and prospects of current research and application,to provide a helpful reference to improve the use of machine learning for the smart separation of syndromes in the area of traditional Chinese medicine.
