An investigation into the current situation of the master-apprentice relationship in modern apprenticeship from the perspective of masters——Take the pharmacy major of a vocational college in Jiangsu Province as an example

Abstract：Objective To explore the current situation of the modern apprenticeship relationship in pharmacy in Nantong Health College of Jiangsu Province,and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods From June to October 2023,a total of 123 teachers from 13 pilot units participating in the cultivation of modern apprenticeship talents in pharmacy were selected by a convenience sampling method,and the questionnaire survey was conducted using a general information questionnaire and a master-apprentice relationship scale,and the influencing factors of the master-apprentice relationship were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis.Results The overall average score of the master-apprentice relationship scales was(4.06±0.76),with 109 participants scoring above three.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that sufficient average interaction time between master and apprentices(≥5 h),a deep understanding of the modern apprenticeship system and modern pedagogical training were the influencing factors of mentor-apprentice relationship(P＜0.05).Conclusions The overall situation of the master-apprentice relationship in the modern apprenticeship system of pharmacy in the university was harmonious.This study suggests deepening understanding of the modern apprenticeship system and promoting deeper collaboration between schools and enterprise,constructing a master training system to improve the teaching ability of master education,which are expected to improve the quality of modern apprenticeship talent training,and foster a postitve master-apprentice relationship.
