Abstract:Objective To investigate the situation of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)in oral cancer patients and analyze its influencing factors. Methods 196 patients with oral cancer admitted to Yancheng First Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University Medical College from February 2018 to February 2023 were selected. The incidence of PTSD in patients with oral cancer were assessed with the clinician administered PTSD scale(CAPS).The patients were divided into PTSD group and PTSD group according to the results of the scale.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of PTSD in oral cancer patients. Results The interview success rate was 96.94%,and the total score of CAPS was 58.32±9.66,and the incidence of PTSD was 25.79%.The proportion of female, patients aged lower than 35 years old, patients with an education level of junior high school or below, per capita monthly income of family lower than 3 000 yuan,TNMⅢ/Ⅳstage,and patients with appearance damage of the PTSD group were higher than those in the non PTSD group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that female, age lower than 35 years old,an education level of junior high school or below,a per capita monthly income of family lower than 3 000 yuan and TNMⅢ/Ⅳstage were all risk factors for PTSD in oral cancer patients(P<0.05).Conclusions Oral cancer patients have a high incidence of PTSD incidence rate, and female, aged lower than 35 years old, having a per capita monthly income of family lower than 3 000 yuan and being at TNM Ⅲ/Ⅳ stage would be risk factors for the occurrence of PTSD.
