The application effect of quality control circle activities in improving the knowledge mastery rate of first aid among nurses with chest pain

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of quality control circle(QCC)in improving the knowledge mastery rate of first aid among nurses chest pain.Methods In May 2023,the Chest Pain Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University established a QCC,focusing on 30 nurses in the Chest Pain Center as the research subjects.The theme of the activity was determined as"improve the knowledge mastery rate of chest pain emergency among chest pain nurses",and the implementation of the QCC's"ten steps in four stages"approach was implemented,and the knowledge mastery rates of chest pain emergency care among the thirty nurses were compared before and after the QCC intervention.Results The knowledge mastery rate of chest pain emergency care among the thirty nurses increased significantly from 55%to 93.33%(χ2=23.01,P＜0.05).The target achievement rate was 142.75%,and the improvement rate was 69.69%.After the implementation of QCC activities,the nurses demonstrated marked improvements in quality control skills,problem-solving abilities,communication and coordination skills,sense of responsibility,collective sense of honor,and team spirit.The chest pain center nursing team also showed more accurate and efficient in the pre-examination and treatment process for chest pain patients.Conclusions Carrying out QCC activities can effectively improve the knowledge mastery rate of first of chest pain emergency care among chest pain nurses and enhance the comprehensive professional competence.
