Practical reflections on the construction of modular curriculum system of geriatric health care and management professional group under the elderly care service system

Abstract：According to the changes in China's elderly care service system,the role of medical care,elderly care,and health care in various service setting have become increasingly prominent,bringing about the expansion and adjustment of related industry chains and job chains.The elderly health care and management professional group should align with the logic of coordinating institutional,community and home care while integrating medical care and health care.This involves designing core courses,shared modular courses,optimized modular courses,and skill-enhancing job-specific content based on a curriculum framework of"basic sharing+technology diversion+module expansion".The curriculum should include professional courses that integrate"standard,X certificate,and new technologies".It should also incorporate competency modules aligned with industry technological advancements and courses that integrate job courses,competitions and certificates,and mutual recognition of credits".Additionally,the implementation of the modular curriculum system requires building a professional group culture,talent training positioning,practical training bases,teacher teams,sharing mechanisms,and conducting effect evaluations.
