Abstract:Value-added evaluation,as a new evaluation method, has the characteristics of process, development, and non-competitiveness.It is an important direction for the reform of teaching evaluation in the high-quality development stage of vocational education. However, the value-added evaluation model is intricate and operationally challenging, compounded by the low level of digitalization among medical educators in higher vocational colleges and the need for an updated evaluation concept. As a result,it has not been extensively researched or widely implemented in higher vocational medical education. At present, higher vocational medical education should seize the opportunity of digital transformation in education, and strive to promote the in-depth development of value-added evaluation from four aspects:deepening theoretical research, increasing technological empowerment, strengthening empirical research, and optimizing evaluation environment.
